Simplicity itself - water, plants and wood working in
'Harmony'.
Possibly the most natural design we have entered, you could
stumble across this garden in the middle of a woodland and it
not seem out of place.
At the top, a header pool gently flowed down under the rustic
bridge and seating area to the larger pool beneath. The shelter
and deck area were constructed using timber that Pete found in a
local timber yard which had lain forgotten for years.
The timber stepped path led you from the front of the garden,
up between the two pools, where to the right lay a small
flattened meadow grass area shaded beneath a tree adjacent to
the deck.
The planting was a combination of native and ornamental
plants to illustrate, when planted together with thought and
care, they compliment the wood and water to form a harmonious
whole.
A return to nature through your back door.
